Services from Dover provide the fastest sea crossings to France. The port provides ferry services to Calais, Boulogne and Dunkerque (Dunkirk).

There are currently four ferry operators at Dover. Norfolkline, P & O Ferries and SeaFrance provide traditional Ro-Ro ferry services from the Eastern Docks, whilst SpeedFerries provide a fast ferry service from the Hoverport in the Western Docks.

SpeedFerries

SpeedFerries are the low cost fast ferry operator of the Channel. With a crossing time of only 50 minutes, they operate between the Hoverport at the Western Docks in Dover to Boulogne. With exclusive port facilities on both sides of the Channel and no freight or coach traffic, foot and car passengers experience something different to any other ferry operator.

With a spacious sundeck surrounded by the beautiful views of the White Cliffs of Dover, Cote D’Opale or the sea, you can sit back and enjoy the view, a nice breeze and truly feel the high speed of the vessel.  There is also Premier Class, which includes reserved seating at the top deck with direct access to the sundeck, all accompanied by waiter service.

With an excellent array of restaurants, sites of historical interest, small boutiques and a newly opened casino; Boulogne is a town of genuine charm. Speedferries operate up to five crossings daily.

P&O Ferries

With a journey time of 90 minutes journey time, P&O’s Dover to Calais ferry crossing is a quick and enjoyable way to hit the Continent. With crossings, round the clock, you can choose from up to 25 sailings a day.


SeaFrance

SeaFrance is the only French owned cross-Channel ferry operator on the Dover to Calais route with up to fifteen daily return crossings.

Norfolkline

Norfolokline’s cross channel ferries run from Dover to Dunkerque with an approximate crossing time of 1 hour 45 minutes. There are up to seven sailings per day.
